Sign the mutual Confidential Disclosure Agreement. Submit the intake form. We reply within one business day to schedule the discovery call — and the engagement opens.
Order matters: CDA first if you're sharing sensitive data, then intake. The intake also asks for your CDA status.
What you're entering into
Three things to know before we open the engagement.
Confidentiality is foundational.
Your workspace is isolated. Your information stays protected and under your control. Client files and deliverables are never used to train models — generally available, or anyone else's.
The mutual CDA is the legal embodiment of that posture. We sign it before we share anything that needs protecting.
Private by design
From evidence to decisions to execution.
Our engagement model is a continuous cycle: evidence to decisions, decisions to design, design to build, build to execute, execute to proof. The Strategy Scan is the front of that cycle — five named modules over five to ten days, each one closing a specific gap.
Intelligence, advisory rigor, AI orchestration, and delivery governance — working as one operating logic, not four separate engagements.
Days, not months
Living activation, not slide decks.
Consulting output is everywhere; execution systems are still rare. We don't believe in deliverables that arrive as a deck and end up in a SharePoint folder. We believe in operating systems — recommendations that come with named owners, baselined KPIs, and a 90-day plan that starts the next business day.
Strategy as a living thing — not a static document the team has to interpret on its own.
Execution controlled
The Strategy Scan
Five modules. Each one closes a specific gap.
One named decision per Scan. Four named outcomes — Proceed · Narrow · Pivot · Pause — backed by sourced evidence and an executable plan. Board-ready Day One.
M1 · Day 1–2
Decision Framing
Sharpen the question until it's worth answering.
M2 · Day 2–4
Evidence & Scoring
Pressure-test hypotheses against the evidence.
M3 · Day 3–5
Risk & Governance
Map risks to ownable, time-bound controls.
M4 · Day 5–7
90-Day Plan
Workstreams, named owners, baselined KPIs.
M5 · Day 7–10
Executive Readout
The committed call, with talking points for four audiences.
No surprises in the room. The 90-day plan starts Monday morning.
A few practical things
The short version of how it works.
How long does the engagement take?
Five to ten working days from kickoff to readout. The clock starts when Module 1 opens, not at first contact.
Do I have to sign the CDA?
Only if we'll be exchanging sensitive information. If your decision is non-confidential, the intake alone is fine and we'll discuss CDA needs on the call.
What happens after I submit?
An Engagement Manager replies within one business day to schedule the discovery call — typically 30 minutes, where we confirm the scope and align on the named decision.
What do you do with my information?
It lives in an isolated engagement workspace. Used only to deliver your Strategy Scan. Never used to train AI models. Returned or destroyed on request.
Can I attach supporting documents?
Yes. The intake form opens your email pre-addressed to advisory@velorstrategy.com; attach the intake PDF and any documents you ticked in §4. For files over the ~25 MB limit, paste a Drive/SharePoint/Box link.
What if I want to use my organisation's own CDA?
That's fine — note "Using our own template" in the intake and attach it to the email. We'll respond within one business day either way.
Ready to sharpen the question?
The Scan is sized for decisions that need to land in days, not months. If yours qualifies, the next step is one of the two cards above.
